I am constantly asked by parents, “What words do I use when talking to my kids?” Sex Talks with Tweens gives you factual information so that you can talk to your child about sexual health topics. I have collected hundreds of sex education books over the years and this excellent book stands out! It is simpler to use than most and it covers a broad range of topics. More than ever, we need to be approachable and ‘askable’ parents who empower our kids. This book will help you do just that!

About The Author
When Amy Lang, MA became a parent she assumed she would be amazing at the sex talks because she had been a sexual health educator for over 16 years. She was not. At all. Surprised by her discomfort (and embarrassment) she began to seek out the best ways to talk with young kids about this important part of life.
While she was doing her research she realized she could combine her love of sexual health and a Master’s degree in adult education and help other parents tackle this important part of parenting. In 2006 she started her company Birds & Bees & Kids.
With her lively, engaging and down-to-earth style she helps parents and caregivers become their kid’s go-to birds and bees source. Amy’s books, Birds & Bees Solutions Center and podcast – Just Say This – show parents talking about sexuality can be something to look forward to and tons easier than most people think.
Amy is still married to her first husband and they are getting the hang of parenting their recently launched man-child. She lives in Seattle WA and you can learn more about her work at BirdsAndBeesAndKids.com or BBKpros.com
